1000 Guineas - Form Guide
Assessing the form for the 2011 1000 Guineas begins a good year before, when the quality 2 year old fillies begin their racing careers. The Richard Hannon filly was one of the star juveniles last year with a win in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot and the Cherry Hinton at Newmarket on her impressive CV. After those two wins she went to the Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh at the back end of August as the warm favourite only to disappoint and finish back in 6th over the 7f trip. We have not seen her on track since and will go straight to the Guineas following a race course gallop at Newbury recently, connections were pleased with her then and if we forgive her Moyglare run she could be a massive contender.

Laughing Lashes
Jessica Harrington has confirmed that Laughing Lashes will head to Newmarket for the 1000 Guineas and after some positive reports from home she could be a major player. She had a good career as a juvenile with a win over Misty For Me in the Debutante Stakes at the Curragh the highlight, although that result was reversed just a few weeks later in the Moyglare Stud Stakes when she could only manage second. There are one or two suggestions on the back of those two runs that she will appreciate a touch of rain before the Guineas and if she gets it she could be the one to beat.

Moonlight Cloud will be looking to make it back-to-back wins for France in the 1000 Guineas this weekend following the win of Special Duty in the race last season. The Freddy Head trained Moonlight Cloud looks a potential star following her win at the start of april when she won the Prix Imprudence by two lengths at Maisons-Lafitte. Misty For Me
Misty For Me looked like the best juvenile filly for Aidan O'Brien last season and if she has progressed over the winter could run a massive race at Newmarket on Sunday. She won the Prix Marcel Boussac at Longchamp last time out in October and that was an impressive win ahead of Helleborine on soft ground. As well as that she has a win over Laughing Lashes on her CV, that came at the Curragh in August in the Moyglare Stakes after finishing behind Laughing Lashes at the same course just a couple of weeks earlier. There is just a feeling that Misty For Me may want further with the Oaks likely to be a target but she is a class type and in an open race has to have a chance.
